I'm still in shock. I thought the election would go differently. I understand that my nation has clearly spoken and I respect her choice. Sociologists say we are more divided now than we were at the time of the Civil War. I don't like that. As a nation we are family.
I've been fortunate to pastor all over the country and have friends who are staunch Democrats and some who are staunch Republicans. For those of you who are afraid right now, think about this. Do you remember how you felt after 9/11? We were scared then, but we survived, didn't we? We have survived attacks, wars, assassinated presidents and corruption yet we still stand. We will survive this, too.
Again, America voted and I respect her choice. At every election Christians fear that, if their party loses, the winner will provoke end time events. That still hasn't happened! The republic is strong, trust that!
God doesn't have to run His plans by me. I probably wouldn't agree anyway.
I know we are a nation of destiny as reflected in the book of Revelation and that God has His eyes on us. He doesn't have to run His plans by me. I probably wouldn't agree anyway.
No president in my lifetime has been as bad or as good as we thought they would be. The weight of the office matures all of them.
Do not be afraid! Believe that God has His plan for your life and it will not be altered by any president.
Do not be afraid! Believe that God has His plan for your life and it will not be altered by any president. He loves us and He knew this was going to happen. I even expect God to use Donald! Our faith is in Christ not a political party! God has allowed me to suffer, but He has never abandoned me! I don't know how, but I believe God will use this for the good of His people. Don't let your heart be troubled. "For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11.
